American artist Lucia Ravens is a pioneer in the aesthetics of data utilization of Lidar Photography of the 21st century. Through expansive lidar photography influenced abstract visualizations - Ravens draws inspiration from the technology of lidar point cloud data and thermal energy imagery to create large scale abstract colour fields to expand the narrative of the conservation movement on forestal, farmland and water body landscapes. Her work explores this paradigm at the intersection between art, architecture, sound, science and technology.
